Dual Axis XY Joystick Module
The Joystick Module is a versatile and essential component for any DIY electronics project, especially for those involving analog control. This joystick is reminiscent of the 'analog' joysticks found on PS2 (PlayStation 2) controllers, providing familiar and intuitive control.
The PS2 Joystick Module Breakout Sensor features two 10k potentiometers for directional movements, one for each axis (X and Y). Additionally, it includes a select button that is activated when the joystick is pressed down, similar to the functionality found on Xbox controllers.
- Analog Control: Measures position coordinates on the X and Y axes through two 10k potentiometers.
- Select Button: Includes a pressable switch when the joystick is pushed down.
- Analog Output: Generates analog signals for 2D movement.
- Standard Interface: 2.54mm pin interface leads.
- Durable: Long service life and stable performance.
- Compatibility: Standard interface and electronic building blocks make it widely used in Arduino DIY projects.
- Power Supply: 5V
- Output: Two analog values representing X and Y directions.
- Analog Input Value: Approximately 2.5V at rest, increasing to 5V or decreasing to 0V with joystick movement.
- Pin Interface: 2.54mm
- Potentiometers: ~10k each
