Load cells are typically connected using a four-wire Wheatstone bridge. The conventional color coding is as follows:
- Red (Excitation+ or VCC)
- Black (Excitation- or GND)
- White (Signal+ or Output+)
- Green (Signal- or Output-)
- Yellow (Shield): Optional input, used for grounding and shielding against EMI (Electromagnetic Interference).
