MPU6050 Module - 3-Axis Accelerometer and Gyroscope
The MPU6050 module utilizes the highly popular MPU6050 sensor, which combines a 3-axis accelerometer and a 3-axis gyroscope in a single package. This integrated solution simplifies design and usage, eliminating cross-axis alignment issues present in separate accelerometer and gyroscope ICs. The sensor interfaces through an I2C connection, allowing for an easy and direct interface with microcontrollers.
The MPU-6000/MPU-6050 family of sensors are the world’s first and only 6-axis Motion Tracking devices, specifically designed for the low power, low cost, and high-performance requirements of smartphones, tablets, and wearable sensors.
The 6 Degrees of Freedom (DoF) sensor breakout integrates the MPU6050 sensor, a low noise 3.3V regulator, and pull-up resistors for the I2C bus. This makes it straightforward to connect the sensor to Arduino processors for your robotics, HCI, and wearable projects.
